I do not claim to be the easiest person to deal with, so kudos to my lawyer Sheri Bryce dye for having patience with me and most of all for fighting for me so I could see my son. My ex husband did everything he could to keep me out of my son's life. Going as far as interrupting court ordered phone calls between us. I went from having NO access to my son to getting visitations with him in person. To where he can even stay with us during Xmas break from school...spring breaks, thanksgiving and even Summers. Sherri advocated for me when I needed it the most because I was/am dealing with the scariest government agencies there is. At one of the most traumatic times in my life, Sherri was the thing that kept me going. At a time I felt the most insecure and afraid, Sherri was my confidence and security. I can’t even think about the situation I could be in had I not had her guidance and knowledge. It is not over yet, but I can say my family and I feel much much more secure knowing she is on our side!
Mrs Sheri Dye, attorney-at-law, came into the picture at the last minute to rescue of my daughter when the Mission Trails Baptist Hospital called CPS to prevent my grandson from leaving the hospital. It was a nightmare for 4 weeks with my daughter there in the NICU with my grandson all night, and then home to sleep during the day. Mission Trails staff also reported to CPS that she was only there 30 minutes a day at most. I guess they were home sleeping while my daughter was there from 6pm to 6am almost daily, and the few days she was not able to be there as she was exhausted and recovering from a C-Section, her younger sister was with the baby. The day that my grandson was supposed to go home, CPS made life hell! What an awful bunch of people! The nightmare stories are true. Every mother is guilty until proven innocent. THEN Mrs Dye came into the picture with her many years of experience with CPS, even as a prosecutor for same, and saved the day! With very little notice from me, several hours only, Mrs Dye got to hospital, comforted my daughter that was hysterical at that point about what CPS was trying to do, and proceeded to negotiate the discharge of my daughter and her newborn son to go home! According to my daughter, Sheri turned the CPS agent to her will, and arranged everything necessary to get the child and mother home. I am much more than impressed! All is well now, thanks to Sheri Dye! If you need help with CPS, call Mrs Dye. I assure you that you will be in very capable hands! Thank you Mrs Dye!!
Needing a lawyer and not knowing what to really look for and coming across her name was a blessing. At first, I did not understand Miss Sheri’s tactics. After undertaking the entire process of obtaining primary custody of my children, and still being in the mid-process of doing so, her approach has become very clear. She is an amazing lady with your best interests in mind- very down to earth and realistic in methodology. She will let you know beforehand if your decision is viable in court. If you are like I was initially, the emotions regarding your children can be overwhelming. Sheri did a great job hearing out my frustrations and was willing to go through with my requests, even if she advised against it. Thankfully I listened to her advice and have since apologized for my irrationality. Miss Sheri was very understanding, as we have both been through similar experiences in childhood. I retained Sheri Bryce Dye in my case after a final decree was signed by the Judge in my divorce and custody case that placed me and my children in a very bad position. I came to her with my problems, many problems, and let her know from the beginning that mine is a very complex case and not one that will be quickly or easily solved. I also let her know that I am not the easiest client to deal with. She assured me that she would do everything she could to help me in this matter. We are still going through the procedure and I am not exactly sure what the outcome will end up being, but I can tell you that Sheri is putting in effort on my behalf and she is a very compassionate, honest, direct, and down to Earth attorney.
